A good PA horn can come in handy on the trail or on the job. Any time you need to talk to someone outside the vehicle you can flip a switch on your radio and be broadcasting over the PA in seconds. This five inch PA horn from Kalibur is the right balance of size and power for most CB applications.

The inside diameter of the horn is 5 inches, but the overall outer measurement is actually 5 3/8 inches. It tapers down to 3 inches at the back. It stands about 5 1/2 inches tall when pointed straight forward on the mount. The mount is 2 3/4 inches at its widest point. The back two mounting holes are 1 1/2 inches center to center. They are both 2 inches from the front mounting hole. The horn will swivel about 110 degrees on the mount, going from pointing straight up to angled down slightly.

The speaker wire for the horn is 10 feet long, which is enough to go from the most common mounting locations (under the hood or on top of the cab) to your radio. The wire ends in a 3.5 mm plug that will fit the PA jack for any CB radio.

The 8 ohm speaker will handle up to 15 watts of power, which is more than any CB puts out of the PA jack. The audio is fairly loud, but this is not an amplified speaker. If you need to be heard over a diesel or a noisy work area, an amplified PA speaker may be what you need.

Great speaker! I have it mounted on the driver side under the hood. It sounds good, but might do better mounted outside.
Bought this for my son's truck. He mounted it under the hood near the front grill. Sound is quite good. Seems like a good choice.
Good speaker. Holds up well to teh elements. Good sound
I bought this 5" PA horn in black to use on my Jeep with my Cobra LTD29 CB radio. At 15 amps it works great and, since I mounted it on the outside of the front of my Jeep it can be heard very well. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was the 8' length of the cord. Wasn't quite long enough to reach the front of the Jeep (I mounted it under my after-market pushbar) so I went to my local Radio Shack and picked up an 8' extension for $7 and that did the trick. At $12 it was a good buy. Shipping was pretty quick, took 3 business days to arrive.
This horn is much bigger than what I expected. It works great so far. I have it mounted to the underside of the hood and it has withstood the heat of the engine so far without melting. Also, it has been splashed a lot with muddy water and still works fine.Finding a place to fit this beast was slightly difficult on my 2001 jeep wrangler. But it is great for the price. The pa horn can get loud when used with a cb but is not very audible while driving.
