I recomend it highly but____ plan on spending a bit of time with the manual and working with the scanner. A great scanner for the price and some times to good. I still think i can do better on a mobile antenna, the one i have does ok, not the range i hoped for. But if your looking for a scanner that wont brake your bank, and one to do almost every thing go for it, other wise go for the next level and expect to add almost 200$. Good luck.
