This item is very poorly made. It looks good, and the design is good, I've seen similar on factory Gold Wing antennas, but the fit of the parts together is sloppy so that the antenna can wobble around. With a 3' antenna, the tip can move about 2" just due to the slop in this mount. The slop alone irritates me, but also makes me wonder it the mount maintains solid electrical contact, which would affect antenna operation. It's really a piece of junk!

To their credit, CB World did agree with no hassle to take it back.
