This is an older, discontinued Maxon radio. The broadcast frequencies for weather have not changed for quite some time, however, so it still works great!

• Receives continuous radio broadcasts 24 hours a day from the National Weather Service.
• From one of 3 high band FM radio frequencies: 162.550, 162.475 or 162.475 Mhz.
• Each of the above frequencies cover specific geographical locations as noted with the enclosed card.
• Provides taped local weather condition messages every 4-6 minutes.
• Powered by a 9 volt battery. (not included)
