This chrome plated brass rain cap protects NMO (1-1/8"-18 threaded) antenna mounts from weather while no antenna is mounted.This rain cap screws down on top of the mount providing an attractive and functional cover for the mount. While this cap is metal, take care when tightening. It is not hardened and will scratch. Do not transmit with radio without an antenna.
